there's a little bug in the current version related to this, and this is why I asked you. I have already fixed in the next version but not released yet. the issue is related to different events called by CB depending on the user approval settings.
If you need to change settings as before, you need to upgrade the plugin to the patched version. I will release in a couple of days, but I can send you via email if you cannot wait.
