Hello There,

I am using Community Builder verson 2.07 with the latest Profile Pro. I have defined to new groups with registered as parent one for "Customers" and one for "Partners"

I have used Profile Pro to define two registration, one for Customers and One for Partners and in parameters set this as a radio button field and added as the first field in each form.

The two profiles are named, "Partner Profile" and "Customer Profile"

On the live site, when I select the radio buttons the corresponding profile does in fact come up.

So what is the proper syntax to achieve auto grouping?

This is what I am using and it does not seem to work?

cd_profiletype;customer profile;Customer;true
cd_profiletype;partner profile;Partner;true

Any help would be appreciated.

;) Cheers,
Neil

Hi Neil,
can you post here a screenshot of your cd_profiletype field settings? If you prefer, send me an email at info(at)selfget.com.

Thanks,
Luigi

After the first check I have some questions. Here are your settings:

cd_profiletype;customer profile;Customer;true
cd_profiletype;partner profile;Partner;true

1) The field name seems wrong:

cb_profiletype

2) I cannot find the declared groups to assign (Customer, Partner):

Group Title Users in group ID
Public 1
|— Guest 9
|— Manager 6
|—|— Administrator 1 7
|— Registered 6 2
|—|— Author 3
|—|—|— Editor 4
|—|—|—|— Publisher 5
|—|— Meed Customers 1 10
|—|— Meed Partners 1 11
|— Super Users 3 8

I just see Meed Customers, and Meed Partners.

Can you fix these? Let me know if you need help to fix...

Kind regards,
Luigi

I changed my Parameters syntax to match my declared groups:

cd_profiletype;customer profile;Meed Customers;true
cd_profiletype;partner profile;Meed Partners;true

But this still does not seems to get the group assigned?

What am i missing?

Cheers,
Neil

The field name is still cd_ in your settings, while the real field name is cb_ so you should fix this too. Let me know...

I fixed both instances of cd_ to cb_ and the plugin is not working (auto grouping)

Cheers

Now it works (thanks for backend access). Right settings are:
cb_profiletype;meed-customers-profile;Meed Customers;true
cb_profiletype;meed-partner-profile;Meed Partners;true

Values comes from the "alias" of Profile Pro profiles you defined:

Partner Profile
alias: meed-partner-profile

Customer Profile
alias: meed-customers-profile

Kind regards,
Luigi

P.S. For security reasons remember to disable or delete my temporary backend access.
