I have two joomla installations localhost and webserver. Both have same Joomla version and different PHP versions. But both PHP versions are supported by joomla.
I have installed jBackend3.5.0_J3 on both. But it works on remote server and not on local machine.

On localmachine, the backend does not work and it works on remote server.
When I check jbackend plugins in jbackend component, they are disabled but enabled in Joomla extension manager. When I click on the plugins in joomla component, I get error. Please see attached screenshots.

Local machine - not working

Local machine - not working

Remote server - working

What can be reason for the problem?

Hi Vikas,
from your screenshot it is not clear what you mean with "doesn't work". Can you tell me what is the problem?

Thanks,
Luigi

Hello Luigi,
Thanks for the reply.

I am sorry for unclear post.

It does not work means
1. It does not show that the jbackend modules/plugins are not enabled. You may see small red crosses in image 1.
2. It does not return any information when I put http://localhost/joomla/index.php/rest/get/content/articles/1 in my address bar. It opens webpage of the article. I expect JSON of article 1 or some error.

Regards

Hi Vikas,
sorry but from the screenshots it seems you still have to enable the plugins (otherwise they will not work). A jBackend module is a simple Joomla plugin so you can see them also under the plugin management, selecting type "jbackend".

In case of problems to do this, send me a PM at info(at)selfget.com or contact me on skype (user selfget).

Kind regards,
Luigi

Hello Luigi,
Thanks for the reply.
I tried to enable the plugins by clicking on them, but nothing happens(they show red cross refer picture 1). But when I check same plugins in joomla plugin manager, they are enabled.(check picture 2)

Today I updated the remote server website to 3.7.5.
It asks me to upgrade Jbackend.

Name Location Type Installed Available Folder Install Type URL Details
jBackend 3.5.0 Site Package 3.2.0 3.5.0 N/A Update www.selfget.com/updates/jbackend.xml www.selfget.com

Note that name has 3.5.0, but installed version info shows 3.2.0.
