Ok I have CB 2.0.3
Joomla 3.3.6
Auto Group 2.1
I have check boxed on my user profiles for a variey of patches my organization gives out as awards. I followed the tutorial with the exception of using Check Boxes as appose to a drop down box.
Here is a screen shot of auto group settings:
My user groups:
Just a screen shot of the check box options:
I did make sure to check all Case values to make sure everything matches up correctly. However it wont assign to the groups when the check boxes are selected.
Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any ideas?

Hi,
with single CB checkbox fields the value is 1 when checked and 0 when unchecked. In this way we get rid of any dependency from translations. In your case you are using multiple checkboxes field, that is not supported.
Just let me check if is possible to add this kind of support too. Hold on... I'll be back ASAP.
Kind regards,
Luigi

Just released version 2.2. Please, download and install over the existing one. Check and let me know if it works now, no need to change any settings.
Kind regards,
Luigi

Thank you for the quick response and support.
I have updated and the update works great.
I tested checking the boxes and getting added to groups and unchecking the selections automatically removes the user from those groups.
Thank you so much for the quick feature add, it was very important that I got this working for the way I want to run my site's discount features for another piece of software.

Is there anyway to say that if a user is autoadded to one group it will remove them from another?
So say they check (from images above) Army, and Pathfinder PP....I only want them added to the Army group as that gives a larger discount, but still want users added to Pathfinder PP if thats the only one they select, or Army ect.
I will explain my whole scenario and why I ask this:
I am using VikEvents, this allows me to do discounts based on user groups.
I have different discounts for various user groups...
Military members get our highest discounts, is there a way that if they select one of those check boxes it doesnt add them to the other groups even if they check those boxes?
My check box also adds images of patches we give out at those events, some events get them a discount to future events..
I hope this makes sense and is possible.
Thank you for your time.

Hi,
I understand your scenario. A solution could be to use a dropdown list (single select) field, but it seems you really need to have more than a single check selected. What you are describing includes a kind of "application logic" (e.g use the highest discount if military) that cannot be described with the simplest Auto Group assigning rules. My suggestion is to assign / remove all groups and apply the logic in the "discount" process.
Kind regards,
Luigi
