Hi Luigi,

How are you doing?

I hope you can help me. I have read your tutorial on the support page you mentioned above. But I have a problem. I am using Community Builder, and I got the registration page to work displaying the Country and the State Fields... but it seems like it is not recording the value. When I go to check the profile of the user, the value do not show, it is blank. And I know it is not recording the value of either field because I also indicated on the fields set up those to be 'required' on registration and when I clicked Register it was showing the error 'Field Country is required' and not letting me to register, I went I ahead and set up the fields as not required and then the registration went well, but the values of the fields were not recorded or save in the database because when I check on the profile view, the fields were blank. I am attaching two pictures. One showing how I set the 'Page list' section of the plugin and then the profile fields showing blank.

Could you please help me by recommending the right set up on the Page List or point out what I am doing wrong?

Thanks so much in advance,

Alexis

Hi,

I have the exact same problem. Both the country and state fields seem to work but when I click register I get this message: 'Field Country is required'.

The code I'm using is the following:
option=com_comprofiler;cb_country;cb_state

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,
the field you are using should not have javascript client side validation enabled. Check your settings.

Kind regards,
Luigi
