Hi,
not sure if "got it" is also related to the badge problem.In any case you can set the badge using the "Payload" field when you create the jBackend notification. In this field you can put a generic JSON, so you can pass custom data (as example) required to build the badge, according to the plugin you are using. In a couple of days I will release a new version with some additional features related to push notifications, then I will try to modify the demo app to support push notifications with custom fields.

Yes,
it will be possible to add filters on target devices, but I am still working on this.
