Requet URL and Postman for jBackend was created by robcruz
Hi,
I'm trying to use Postman to test the jBackend integration but having difficulties getting through the first steps.

I'm using URL: www.mysite.com/index.php?option=com_jbackend&view=request/post/user/login?username=usr123&password=pass123

Getting the following response:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en-gb" lang="en-gb" dir="ltr">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>500 - Error: 500</title>
<link rel="stylesheet" href="/templates/ja_biz/css/error.css" type="text/css" />
</head>
<body class="page-error">
<div class="error">
<div id="outline">
<div id="errorboxoutline">
<h1>
<span class="errorcode-5">5</span>
<span class="errorcode-0">0</span>
<span class="errorcode-0 errorcode-last">0</span>
</h1>
<div class="error-message">
<h2>View not found [name, type, prefix]: requestpostuserloginusernameusr123, html, jbackendView</h2>
</div>
<div id="errorboxbody">
<span>Please try one of the following pages: </span>
<a href="/index.php" title="Go to the Home Page">Home Page</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Have tried multiple options but does not seem to work for me.
All plug-ins have been enabled and the menu item is configured for Access type: User, Enable trace: Yes, Enabled Modules: All

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks!!

Hi,
the request URL is wrong, and the error reports this (view not found).

I don't suggest to use the "default" component URL, but you should create a menu item (better in an unpublished menu e.g. an the hidden menu). Then you can use this menu frontend URL as endpoint. More info here:

www.selfget.com/documentation/jbackend-joomla30/initial-configuration.html

If you still have troubles, send me a PM at info(at)selfget.com.

Kind regards,
Luigi
