PHP 7 is a major upgrade with a lot of potential compatibility issues. The latest version of Joomla supports it. Has JBackend been tested on PHP 7. It runs 2.5 times faster so is something that all should upgrade to.

JBackend expert please comment??

jBackend is running well on servers with PHP 7, and no issue was reported up to now.
