Google GCM server can receive message from server app (joomla/jbackend) by http protocol or xmpp protocol.
Which protocol use jbackend?
I've read on google website that only xmpp protocol can receive messages from apps.
Question is : Is there a way to communicate to joomla / jbakend when an app has been uninstalled?
thanks.

Not sure I got your question. BTW, if an app registers itself on Joomla, and then is removed from the device, you can't sent push notifications to that device.

Ooops, but this is a different problem/matter.
On the device table there is a field for the "last contact" received from a device. This could be useful to delete devices older than N days. And I will add a button for this in the next version (for now you should do execute the clean query manually).
