500 Error when trying to execute request was created by Josifovski
Hello,

I am new to jBackend and just set it up on my website exactly as described. (using Joomla 3.2.6)

Now, using Postman i have tried checking the requests for the test site (support4joomla/jbackend) and it worked.
The same doesn't work on my server (i get the 500 error), just to clarify i am trying to get the categories only.

The base URL is danceglobal.tv
and the jBackend is added as rest -> index.php?option=com_jbackend&view=request

Please assist me in this.

Thanks

Hi,
it seems you have not created a menu item to publish an endpoint. So you "component" endpoint is:

www.danceglobal.tv/index.php?option=com_jbackend&view=request

But it returns an error 500, while (as example) this works:

www.support4joomla.com/jbackend/index.php?option=com_jbackend&view=request

First check that you have installed the proper jBackend version for Joomla 3 (not the one for Joomla 2).

For fast solution, could you, please, send me an email at info(at)selfget.com? You should provide me the error message you can find in the server error log. We need to understand the reason for the error 500.

Kind regards,
Luigi
