I had to purge my cache to see the update files. I am running them now... do you think I'll need to uninstall and reinstall again?

I think ReDJ will work after upgrade, no need to reinstall it.

OK... I'm not gonna freak out. But the update process reloaded to a completely white screen and now the site won't load. I'm not freaking out: I know that the files are still intact and that, worse case, there are backups... but do you have any expertise to offer?

Of course I can help you to fix the issue.
The first step, check the error log on your server, and you should find the error message forthe blank screen (e.g. a php error).
For quick solution you can contactme on skype (selfget) or send me an email at info(at)selfget.com.
Regards,
Luigi

I managed to get the admin page to load... but am stuck with this error:
1146 Table 'noam_joomla.n4kzv_postinstall_messages' doesn't exist SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `n4kzv_postinstall_messages`
