I mean you can enable "Trace errors" in ReDJ plugin and manage single redirects from the Error tab in the ReDJ manager.

Can you please tell me how to enable Trace errors? I cannot find this setting anywhere.
There are no errors listed under the Errors section now. Does enabling the Trace errors bring in the errors that Google webmaster is listing because again....they are pages from my old site.

I assume this is the documentation explaining how to enable errors though the settings is TRACK errors not TRACE. Am I misunderstanding your instruction?
www.selfget.com/documentation/redj-joomla25/plugin-settings.html
If I am correct in assuming I should set the settings in the plugin as noted in the documentation, do I set them exactly as show in the documentation? To include the setting "Referers to exclude" {self} {none}
Also, do I set a Redirect URL and if so, how to exactly?
Thank you so much for all your help.

Yes,
you can follow the documentation and enable just error tracking (you can leave track referral off if you don't need). At this point you should see some error entries in the ReDJ Manager (the component) under the error tab. And from there you can also create a redirection to a new full specified URL for each error.

Hi,
Errors are showing up, however, only 20 are showing in the component. There are 51 showing in the Google crawl. And none of the 20 are showing in the crawl. Any reason for this discrepancy? How do I address all the ones in the crawl?
Also I am really confused by some of these errors. Some below are:
http://mysite/bigdump.php (I have no idea what bigdump is!)
mysite.com/misc/batch.js (Why a js error?)
Is it safe to just redirect and error that shows up?
Thank you so much for all the help. I donated some time ago to say thank you for your work and great support.

The "discrepancy" is that ReDJ only records and shows the requests made on your site (since the moment you activated the feature).
So it is good to redirect only the errors you see under ReDJ (take also a look at hits counter to see if they are common or not).
Last thing, don't feel confused about the errors, anyone can call whatever he wants on any site, and you could see requests like:
mysite.com/supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
These are not YOUR problems at all. You just need to take care about errors that are caused by your site (correct if possible instead of redirect them) and errors that are caused by wrong external links (that you can redirect wherever you want without to loose the external reference).
Kind regards,
Luigi
