But i need the domain...

I have

www.mydomain.com/career/

and

www.myotherdomain.com/career/

The redirect is only for the first one.

In this case you should start from the scheme, and escape special chars:
From URL: ^http://www\.mydomain\.com/careeer/
Request only: false (unchecked)

This is not working unfortunately:

In this case there must be another reason (e.g. another rule with highest priority) but I cannot say without backend access.
