Hi redirect after enabling sef on jooomla. was created by ziso
Dear admin can you help me? i have enabled in my joomla the sef option
links for my profiles are set as
bellow.

www.gyn.gr/63-dr-parmenion-zisopoulos
i want them
www.gyn.gr/dr-parmenion-zisopoulos

is this possible or because the original links are converted there is no way to alter them?

It is not possible (or at least it is not easy, done in the past with a complex ReDJ rule, but using query lookups and a prefix in the URL to use as matching pattern). The reason is that the number 63 is the item ID and is the only information useful for Joomla (the slug is mainly for SEO), so if you drop it Joomla doesn't know what item to retrieve.
