Can't get custom 404 page to work

Hi,
If I configure the ReDJ plugin to redirect 404's to a ReDJ default 404 page, it works. If I choose link instead, the 404 continues to be handled by Joomla and my template's error.php instead of getting redirected.
I want my 404 errors to redirect to
www.certifiedinfosec.com/404. Here is how I have the plugin configured:

The link option currently works only for http URL, https is not supported (yet). I should release an update for this.
