I have joomla 2.5 installed the free component as test in order to buy the enterprise
and joomla installed in subfolder
mydomina.com/new

need to rediredt rerquests
mydomain.com/mivida < I have no link no folder with that name

to

mydomina.com/new/index.php/component/joomd/real-estate-egypt/search-results.html?field_33=Mivida

how do i do that?

Do I need to create an htaccess file, create menu item for the link I need to redirect?
Is there any thing to do beside plug-in and component install and enable plug-in.

I am asking as it seems to be not working on joomla 2.5 is that true, as I have tested it over 2 websites running joomla 2.5
