URL Redirect Not Working. Is K2 the Problem?

URL Redirect Not Working. Is K2 the Problem? was created by elemental
Hello.
I am trying out the community version of your plugin.
I have seen other members have luck with redirecting:
From - http://selfget.com/page1
To - http://selget.com/page2
with the community version of your plugin.

I would like the following redirect
From -  http://all-starmodeling.com/component/k2/item/213-membership-has-its-privilges
To - http://all-starmodeling.com/vision

But I cannot get it to work properly. I am attaching a screenshot of my settings.
Could the K2 component be the cause of the redirect fail???
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks and have a great day.

HI,
your rule seems to be wrong. Try this:
From URL: ^/all-starmodeling.com/vision$
To URL: http://{siteurl}/all-starmodeling.com/component/k2/item/213-membership-has-its-privilges
Request only: true (must be checked)

Then when you call:

http://yourdomain/all-starmodeling.com/vision

You will be redirected to:

http://yourdomain/all-starmodeling.com/component/k2/item/213-membership-has-its-privilges

That I guess is what you are trying to get.

Hi,
you can create a rule with "decode URL" checked:
From URL: ^/doctor/argomenti/ginecologia/mestruazioni-troppo-abbondanti-ipermenorrea/item/236-perché-il-ferro-è-di-importanza-vitale\.html$
To URL: http://{siteurl}/doctor/argomenti/ginecologia/mestruazioni-troppo-abbondanti-ipermenorrea/itemlist/category/35-perché-il-ferro-è-di-importanza-vitale.html
Request only: true (checked)
Decode URL: true (checked)

This should works...

Ok,
just try to change the rule as follow (literally):
From URL: /doctor/argomenti/ginecologia/mestruazioni-troppo-abbondanti-ipermenorrea/item/236-perch%C3%A9-il-ferro-%C3%A8-di-importanza-vitale\.html
Request only: true (checked)
Decode URL: false (unchecked)
