It worked properly before the 3.2 update. It was simple and clean and very generic. Now I need to figure out how to use placeholders

Sorry,
I don't understand if you have problems with rules or if just don't know hwo to use placeholders. In the second case, you can find more info here:

www.selfget.com/documentation/redj-joomla25/redirection-rule-features.html

Or you can ignore them if you don't need.

Kind regards,
Luigi

The following rule worked correctly before Joomla 3.2 upgrade. It eliminated "index.php" from the URL whenever it was typed in.

From URL: ^/index\.php/
To URL: http://{siteurl}/{pathltrim /index.php/}{queryfull}

Now it does not work. If 3.2 broke it and now I need to use placeholders then I will try that. But I wanted you to know that it did work fine before 3.2.

I'm changing ReDJ to support this kind of URLs without placeholders. I will release the Enterprise in a few days and the Community just after. Please, be patient.

Meanwhile, if you need help with placeholders let me know.

Kind regards,
Luigi

Just to inform you I have discovered why some macros are not working anymore.I have found an issue with JUri in Joomla 3, and I have reported on JoomlaCode:

joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker/?action=TrackerItemEdit&tracker_item_id=32891&start=0

I'm releasing new Enterprise version 1.7.4 in a few hours and new Community version 1.7.4 in a few days.

With this new version all your redirects should work again.

Kind regards,
Luigi
