That worked!

I would probably use your component except for the custom 404 page overwriting the one from the template.

Now there seems to be another issue to deal with following upgrading to J3.2.0. The 404 page does not work at all. The difference now is the last line of code, in the string of error messages, which indicated your plugin may be the problem, is gone. So ReDJ was not causing the problem with the 404 page.

One last thing.

When uninstalling the package, the plugin is not uninstalled. Had to do that separately.

BTW: The other issue, with the 404 page not displaying, was related to the template, not your plugin or J3.2.

When will 1.7.3 be ready?

I may have to re-install your component; all of the removal attempts appear to have broken the redirect component that comes with Joomla.

But, I agree with you. I don't think I needed it to begin with. There aren't that many pages on my site. Just some off site links to an old version of it.
