Hello,
probably a stupid question.
I detected ReDJ and I am really impressed by this great extension. May I disable the joomla redirect plugin and only use ReDJ plugin?
It is confusing to have two redirect components and not knowing wether to maintain both. Furthermore the database could become rather large with all the redirects after the restructuring of a large website.
Best Regards

Hi Babylon5,
they could work together or you can disable the redirect plugin (decision is up to you).
The redirect plugin only works for one-on-one redirects, while ReDJ rules allow to manage multiple redirects with just a single rule. Moreover, if you enable the "track errors" feature on ReDJ, now there is also a feature to redirect a single error to a new page (without to create a rule, just from errors tab), and this is faster then rules and the same of redirect plugin, so it can be disabled at all (like i usually do).
Kind regards,
Luigi
