Hi Luigi,
I have found ReDj just yesterday and like its features. However I was not able to do correct 301 redirects with it. My website generates hundreds of links and when I change top menu item name it is disaster for google (I had to revert menu item name back to old one - due to many outdated links in google = 404 on my website)
I would need to change part of url to (only example, I need good regex replacement - many links). Note : joomla SEF is enabled
From :
www.vyroba.eu/en/machines/milling-machines-manual?strojeTask=strojeDetails&catid=92&strojeId=3
To:
www.vyroba.eu/en/machines-tools/milling-machines-manual?strojeTask=strojeDetails&catid=92&strojeId=3
I tried all recommended setups from old ReDj site forum but it failed. Either it didn't redirect or it showed error message too many redirects.
Could you pls help? I'm ready to buy enterprise version if it helps. Actually I need good tool enabling me 301 redirects of many dynamic links when I change main menu item or sub-menu item.
What should be From: and To: fields?

Hi,
no need to buy subscription to Enterprise for this simple redirect...
I suppose you just need to change "machines" with "machines-tools", so:
From URL: ^/en/machines/
To URL: http://{siteurl}/en/machines-tools/{pathltrim /en/machines/}{queryfull}
If you are using Joomlafish you should take care of system plugins ordering. Usually ReDJ plugin should be the first one, but in this case the JF table plugin should be first and ReDJ only second...
Let me know,
Luigi

Hi Luigi,
thanks for super fast reply. I tried this yesterday and it did infinity redirect errors.
Yes I use joomfish for 3 languages (so I have en, sk, cs)
However I didn't add language ^/en/machines/ I just added machines. I also had ReDJ plugin as a very first (-100000 position), but I will change it according your suggestions and let you know.
Thanks.

Now it works
!
Luigi now it work and it took me like 5 mins....to setup. For others with same issue on multilanguage website organize joomfish system plugins like this:
1- jfrouter
2- Jfdatabes
3- ReeDJ
I assume that if I want to do this for other languages I just create new items in reDJ.
Now as it works for me I will play more with it to improve URL...maybe I will need internal redirects and enterprise....
Thank you Luigi, now I can change my URLs without worries
.Perfect!
BTW do you know if google maintains page rank if you modify url, but keep structure and use 301?
Thank you so much!
