Hi, I'm very new to the component and to canonical links, so thanks in advance for your help.
I am trying to add a canonical link but it's not showing in the head.
- I have installed your component today and published the plugin
- I then added the address to the URL (full address including the HTTP://)
- I then added the address to the (Tab) Meta options > Canonical (again the full address)
I'm sure I must have missed something important, but not sure what...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
the problem could be how you setup the URL field. It is a regular expression that will be matched against each URL server by your site. If you want to specify the full URL remeber to set the option "Request only" to false (to include domain in the check) and to escape any special char to identify as "literal" char (so . is \. and ? is \? and so on).
Kind regards.

Try to change the rule as follow:
URL: ^/catalogue/charnieres-congelateur\.html$
Request only: true (checked)
And set the canonical you need. Check hits counter to verify if rule is working.
Kind regards,
Luigi
