I've now registered in this forum as you suggested. Maybe you can help me with my problem.

I have a small virtuemart shop with just 6 products. However, with the Virtuemart system it creates several different links for each product (several different links get you to the same product page).
For your information I have Joomla SEF installed.

How can I use the Canonical links to assist this problem? Which link shall I use for the Canonical link - the ones already indexed by Google or the ones in my sitemap?

Any help greatly appreciated - asyou know I am new to all this so an easy explanation would be appreciated. I have downloaded your manual.

Maybe if you could send me your email address, then I can send you an example of three links which link to the same product page. You could then show me how to make one of them a Canonical link That would be great. I have decided that the canonical link should be the one used in my sitemap.

Regarding previous post in this forum, I have Version 1.3.1 Community of Tag Meta.
What would adding {scheme}://{host}{routeurl} in the Canonical field actually do?
