From your screenshot, with "Clear Canonical" option set to yes it seems to work (I cannot see any rel canonical left on the page), right? If this is not what you needed, please, send me an email at info(at)selfget.com and you will get dedicated support as "enterprise" user.

Kind regards,
Luigi

This plugin have two settings:
- Clean canonical link THAT remove all canonical links. I want leave one! I identified her number 2.

To remove the excess link that put the standard method of Joomla shall operate the second setting of plugin -

- Self exclude canonical

But it doesn't work!!! I set Yes in front of the settings and even see that both links are displayed . This can be seen in the screenshot.

- Self exclude canonical must remove native canonical URL, right?

<link href="www.topguard.ua/ua/contacts.html" rel="canonical" />
<link href="www.topguard.ua/ru/contacts.html" rel="alternate" hreflang="ru-RU" />
<link href="www.topguard.ua/en/contacts.html" rel="alternate" hreflang="en-GB" />
<link href="www.topguard.ua/contacts.html" rel="canonical" />

Self exclude canonical means that if the URL of the page is:

www.topguard.ua/ua/contacts.html

Then it should remove the:

<link href="www.topguard.ua/ua/contacts.html" rel="canonical" />

Could you just tell me where the second rel canonical comes from? Then I will first try to replicate on my site to check if there is a bug.

<link href="www.topguard.ua/en/contacts.html" rel="alternate" hreflang="en-GB" />
